Glenn Maxwell hits fastest ODI World Cup hundred in 40 balls

Glenn Maxwell of Australia achieved the fastest century in a World Cup match, scoring it off just 40 balls against the Netherlands in New Delhi. Maxwell's innings included eight fours and eight sixes, surpassing the previous record set by South Africa's Aiden Markram. Maxwell lead his team to a total of 399/8 in 50 overs, with David Warner also hitting a century. Maxwell's 40-ball hundred is the fourth fastest in men's ODI cricket history.
